WGEO Announces Strategic Dialogues at the World Green Economy Summit 2026

The World Green Economy Organization (WGEO) has announced the WGEO Strategic Dialogues, convened in collaboration with its partners during the World Green Economy Summit (WGES) 2026, taking place on 21 and 22 October 2026 at Sheikh Rashid Hall, Dubai World Trade Centre.

The two-day programme will feature 16 sessions, bringing together government representatives, diplomatic missions, international organizations, financial institutions, businesses, technical experts and youth leaders.

The programme is structured around three interconnected priorities: Leadership and Green-Economy Enablers; Energy, Water and Resilient Infrastructure; and Financing Green-Economy Delivery.

The programme will examine how international cooperation, technology, governance and youth leadership can support the transition to a green economy; how resilient energy and water infrastructure can be developed at scale; and how public and private finance can convert national priorities into investable projects.

Key engagements will include the Ministerial Roundtable on Mobilising Green Investments for a Resilient and Inclusive Global Economy, the WGEO Green Circle on scaling private-sector action, and the WGEO Youth Roundtable on Green Economy Leadership.

The programme will also address water security, sustainable aviation fuels, climate transparency and MRV, artificial intelligence, energy access, grids and storage, sustainable procurement, Islamic finance, private-sector risk and sustainable desalination.

Sessions will be led and supported by WGEO and its partners, including the Global Green Growth Institute, Global Compact Network UAE, the Commonwealth Secretariat, CSO Network, ENOC, Hitachi Energy and Goumbook.

Through the Strategic Dialogues, WGEO aims to connect policy dialogue with investment, institutional partnerships and practical implementation.
