Partnership brings together diplomatic expertise and green economy knowledge to advance professional development, research and policy dialogue.

Dubai, UAE, October 2026: The World Green Economy Organization (WGEO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA) to strengthen cooperation in the green economy, sustainability and future readiness.

The MoU was signed during the World Green Economy Summit 2026 by HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Chairman of WGEO, and HE Dr Mohammed Ibrahim Al Dhaheri, Deputy Director General of Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy.

The partnership establishes a framework for developing and delivering executive and professional training programmes, workshops and short courses for public and private sector representatives. Cooperation will also encompass applied research, policy dialogue, knowledge exchange and joint innovation initiatives.

By combining AGDA’s diplomatic expertise with WGEO’s specialised green economy knowledge and international network, the partnership will support professionals in understanding sustainability priorities and engaging in international cooperation. Joint conferences and roundtables will provide opportunities to exchange experience and explore approaches to sustainable development.

The three-year, automatically renewable agreement also enables AGDA to join WGEO’s platforms and participate in its programmes and activities. For WGEO, the partnership strengthens its training and knowledge network, connecting professional development with the institutional capabilities needed to advance the green economy.
