WGEO works to accelerate the transition to a green economy by supporting sustainable development, partnerships, and climate action at global regional, and local levels.

    About RCC MENA & SA:

In February 2019, WGEO partnered with UN Climate Change to establish the Regional Collaboration Centre for the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia (RCC MENASA), with the support of the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment. Hosted by WGEO in Dubai, RCC MENA SA provides a regional platform to advance the objectives of the UNFCCC, the Paris Agreement, and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development by channeling resources into climate action, supporting implementation of NDCs and NAPs, and building partnerships across governments, institutions, and stakeholders.

The WGEO Secretariat office is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
