GREEN DIALOGUE FOR ACTION

The Green Dialogue for Action is envisaged as a platform for identifying analyzing and developing project ideas into investment-ready projects and for the implementation of Green Economy Action. The process ensures the identification and elimination of key risks (regarding policies, strategies and resources) at the earliest possible stage of the project and maximizes development opportunities by ensuring that the projects for Green Economy Action are well conceptualized and an attractive investment opportunity for the private sector, including through the review and application of appropriate financial instruments as per project type.

Objectives

From dialogue to action, leveraging the seven platforms of WGEO
Engage the regions through the modality of dialogues on selected thematic areas/topics/issues
Create ownership of outcome implementation among network of stakeholders

Outputs of the Dialogue

Improved and streamlined model of cooperation between public and private stakeholders to put in place a Project Readiness Facility to support specific green investment projects that are in the preparatory and testing stage and available for replication by different institutions.
