Global Green Economy Young Leaders

Launched by the World Green Economy Organization (WGEO), the Global Green Economy Young Leaders Program is designed to inspire and empower young leaders to drive sustainable development and contribute to the transition to a green economy. The program provides a unique platform for participants to engage with global experts, gain insights into the latest green innovations, and develop the skills needed to lead in the green economy.

During the tenure of this two-week program, participants will be provided the unique opportunity to engage in knowledge sharing via webinars and workshops delivered virtually by global experts within the field of green innovation. Additionally, they would also have the chance to collaborate on individual and group assignments designed specifically to equip them with the necessary tools and skillsets needed for success in the field. As a global community of leaders, participation in this program will offer all delegates the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share a similar commitment and passion towards the realm of green innovation. Hence, the skills and relevant experience drawn from this program would be greatly beneficial to facilitate large-scale impact within this domain.

Program Objectives

Strengthen the technical and operational skills of young talents equipping them with the expertise needed to excel in the green economy.

Foster the development of well-rounded professionals proficient in all areas of clean energy, preparing them to become future leaders in the industry.

Inspire, educate, develop, and connect youth to lead the world towards a sustainable future, providing them with the tools and knowledge to drive impactful change in the green economy.

Selection Criteria:

  • Age between 20-24 years.
  • An undergraduate degree (or pursuing one) at an accredited academic institution.
  • From one of the members states of Global Alliance on Green Economy (GAGE)
