BACKGROUND

H.E. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Chairman of the World Green Economy Organisation (WGEO), will be launching three new platforms dedicated to Academia, Youth, and Civil Society. The event will be co-organized by WGEO and Solar Decathlon Middle East, an initiative empowering student teams to design and construct full-size, solar-powered houses.

This Event aligns with the collaborative efforts of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), and the United States Department of Energy, which jointly established Solar Decathlon Middle East (SDME). The two-day international workshop and platform launch will convene at the Hyatt Regency, Dubai Creek, showcasing a convergence of innovative initiatives aimed at advancing sustainable practices and fostering interdisciplinary dialogues in the realm of green energy and environmental Responsibility.
