INVESTMENT WORKSHOPS

The investment workshops, to be conducted under the umbrella of the Green Dialogues, are designed with the concrete objective of identifying and promoting investment opportunities and strategic projects with demonstrable green growth potential, which are bankable and ready to be presented to financiers across the world.

Participants will have the opportunity to attend the workshops together with representatives of GAGE State Members, international organizations, the private sector, local and national universities, impact investment funds and international cooperation institutions, thereby, leveraging a vast financing ecosystem as facilitated by WGEO.

This workshops will support the building of capacity to mainstream green economy objectives and policies into regional development planning and facilitating investments in priority sectors and regions for State Members.

SMART GREEN CITIES PROJECTS

Partner organizations, had identified a pipeline of 60 bankable smart green cities projects worth US$1.1 billion. Each project benefits from the explicit support of its host government, and as such presents a competitive advantage to interested investors.
