GREEN ECONOMY REPORTS

Green Economy Reports are addressed to global decision makers and green economy practitioners who drive the transformation at the global, regional and national levels. These reports highlight opportunities for channeling long term green finance investments towards innovative businesses and green infrastructure, showcase pathways to creating market opportunities for private investments and place a spotlight on facilitating the transition of economies and societies to sustainable development and greener growth. Reports will contribute to providing policymakers and financial and business leaders with a wider range of tools and opportunities to facilitate their innovative efforts towards sustainable development.

The Green Economy Reports are to serve as a primary catalyst for knowledge-sharing between state and non-state actors in developed and developing countries, including the public and the private sector, international organizations and think tanks, and all other key stakeholders, aiming to promote implementation of green economy policies at all levels, in a manner that endeavors to drive sustained, inclusive and equitable economic growth and improvement in the average quality of life.

The second edition of the WGEO report will build on the first highlighting green job opportunities and relevant financial instruments to mobilize green finance.
