BACKGROUND

The World Green Economy Summit (WGES) is an initiative by the Dubai Electricity & Water Authority and was held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President Prime Minister of UAE and The Ruler of Dubai and the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, in cooperation with World Climate Ltd and WETEX. The World Green Economy Summit remains the premier international platform for strategic partnerships and innovative solutions seeking to accelerate the transition in to the green economy. WGES 2016 will be the 3rd event in its series and will be held over two days on the 5th and 6th of October 2016, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President Prime Minister of UAE and The Ruler of Dubai will launch The World Green Economy Organization "WGEO" in a move that aims to promote the green economy concept regionally and globally.
