With technological innovation shifting towards sustainable solutions, the fourth World Green Economy Summit (WGES) 2017, set to be held on 24-25 October at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre will highlight the role of innovation and technology in the transformation towards the green economy.

WGEO launched the Public Sector Platform and announced the membership of the UAE, South Korea and Italy to the organisation.

The World Green Economy Organization (WGEO) unveiled the Financial Sector Platform, on Friday at the UN Headquarters in Beijing. The platform was launched with an objective to mobilize investments for energy efficiency initiatives and programs to support the shift toward a green economy.

The World Green Economy Organization on May 23 launched the Cities Platform, a global forum for city developers to discuss diverse urbanization issues and emissions-free solutions.

Launching this new suite of platforms not only reflects our diligent efforts to support a green economy, but reinforces WGEO’s pioneering position in ensuring a sustainable future for all.
