PLATFORM MEMBERS
The World Green Economy Organization (WGEO) is an action driven multi-stakeholder organization, seeking to drive the implementation of profitable and sustainable green economy solutions worldwide by supporting public-private partnerships. The organization’s essential role is to benchmark practices, create opportunities, mitigate investment risks in the green economy sector, and support international cooperation for innovation and investment.
The organization is comprised of Members, Partners and Observers.
WGEO PLATFORM MEMBERSHIP
The organization is comprised of Members, Partners and Observers.
1. Members
Members comprise of the public sector, private sector, financial sector, cities and academia & youth engaged in green economy-related practices, activities and issues.
Founding Platform Members
Founding Platform Members shall have the right to be elected to and be represented on the council of WGEO, be represented on the Platform Executive Office and participate in more than one platform, and have access to all the programs and services of WGEO around the world.
Strategic Platform Members
Strategic Platform Members shall have the right to participate in one platform, be represented in the Platform Executive Office and have access to programs and services related to the respective platform.
Associate Platform Members
Associate Platform Members shall have the right to participate in one platform and have access to programs and services related to the respective platform.
Participating Platform Members
Participating Platform Members shall have the right to participate in all WGEO and Partners events.
2. Partners and Observers
Partners and Observers comprise of intergovernmental organizations, non-government organizations, business councils, chambers of commerce, unions and associations involved in the green economy sector who cannot apply for full membership but nevertheless wish to be associated with the WGEO
